Integrated Covid Hub North East- Lighthouse Lab
The Project
Following on from the success of the Nightingale Hospital timelapse, we were asked to create a 3D animation for the new ‘Lighthouse Lab’ based in Baltic Park, Gateshead.
The Process
This is a new Covid testing facility, one of the largest in England and the first of its kind. Swabs are delivered from all over the North East, North Cumbria, Yorkshire and Humbershire, with the capability to carry out 80,000 tests a day.
The purpose of this video is to help drive recruitment by showcasing what the lab has to offer, not just to its workers but also to the entire UK. Included within this is an informative section on the swabs journey. This highlights key stages in the handling of swabs and the testing processes involved in getting results.
