We’ll edit your project in-house on one of our high end Avid suites. We can do anything you’ve seen with video from advanced effects to complex authoring; everything you need is under one roof.
the offline
For larger projects with lots of material we’ll create a low resolution draft to give you the chance to see how your project is taking shape, enabling you to make any final changes before we proceed to the online edit.
the online
The online edit will take your draft project to the level you’d expect from an ht production. We bring in all the footage at the highest resolution to give you crisp images. We then level check and colour correct for consistency and broadcast compliance so your production looks as great as it possibly can!
titles, effects and animation
Titles, effects and animation can be used to complement a project. Title graphics are an integral part of any production. We can also use effects and animations to create things we can’t normally shoot or merely as a means to enhance the material we have. Simple or complex - there are no limits to what can be shown on screen.

Rendering is a key part of the editing process, doing it allows complex audio and visual effects to play in real time.
stand alone DVD encoding
Once a video project is complete we ensure it can be played on a set top DVD player. We’ll encode the video at the highest quality available in relation to its length.
stand alone DVD authoring
Most DVD projects are more than just a video on a disc. We create lovely menus and add interactivity to DVD’s to give the end user more choice of how they use the finished project.
other types of encoding (for web clips or CD ROM)
Your video doesn’t need to go on a disc to work for you.
If your video is going to be used as part of an interactive CD ROM, for download on the web, or simply to be used on a CD so that people without a DVD player can view it, we can make sure it’s encoded correctly to maintain quality and reduce file size for download or streaming.
CD/DVD ROM programs
At ht, our programs can be constructed for assessment, training, marketing, cataloguing or anything you need to get a particular message across.
By creating a CD or DVD programme, there is much more scope to get creative, as well as drastically increasing the options in terms of files and activities that can be included. You can integrate almost any type of multimedia into a programme. Be it PDF’s for reference, video files for promotion, access databases for assessments or 3d models for training. The possibilities are endless.
GUI (Graphical User Interface) design
All of the programs we create at ht have been designed with the end user in mind, to make it as simple as possible to get to the information they need to see.
We do this by not only designing things to be aesthetically pleasing, but ergonomic too. ht have years of experience designing the most appropriate interfaces for the program required.
We will provide a selection of GUI’s that conform to your branding guidelines before the project construction begins. This will also include a flow diagram of navigation and proposed features so you know exactly how it will work before we start.
Component design
Once the initial GUI’s have been signed off, the next step is to design all the components from backgrounds to buttons. These are all of the bits that a user will see, and interact with.
Advanced interactive CD/DVD ROM programming
The software programming that ht offer is a specialist discipline, bringing all kinds of multimedia together to create interactivity. At this stage your project becomes less of a flat piece, and really starts to ‘live and breathe’.
We’ll always ensure you’re involved every step of the way so the end result is that reaches your target audience with maximum effect.
Duplication/Replication
ht can duplicate your completed project in whichever formats are required, many different packaging options are available with full colour printing in large or small quantities. We’ll find the right way to finish your project.
